Words of Wonder
A spin on Scrabble that takes you on a journey to save an illumination tome from forever losing its color. Help Watson the Owl fight the grey curse and restore color to the storybook world! Use the power of words to unlock spectacular bonuses and spell your way to victory.
Responsibilities: Art Direction for all aspect of the product including Environment and Character Design, Animation, UI, and Marketing.
Environments
Below are some examples of paintings and designs done by me. In some scenes, I used Maya to concept out the general placement of the scene and test different camera angles to speed up the production process.

Characters
We created a lovely owl character named Watson (along with other characters courtesy of Lizette Biancalana). I directed the whole creation process from start to finish, working with game designer, artists, and animator to come up with not only the final design, but also the Halloween video content below, as well as 3D figurines. Watson has a companion character named Wilma that we created, her design is shown below. Animation courtesy of Eric Cerda.

UI Styling
Below are some UI assets the I have helped given direction and created. Making sure the UI has the feeling of the illuminated manuscript. We chose to incorporate leather and gold accent to UI to give it a more authentic feel.
